Bring a blanket, a picnic, and some family and friends and join us at Columbia Park for an evening of classical music! Seattle Chamber Music Society’s FREE outdoor music series is back for another summer of classical music in the park.
Each Friday’s event begins at 7:30pm with a live student performance and continues at 8pm with a LIVE audio broadcast of the Summer Festival Concert held in Benaroya Hall, brought to the park by KING-FM 98.1. Featured on the program each week are iconic pieces by composers such as Stravinsky, Mozart, and Brahms.
This event is made possible by the support of the Robert Chinn Foundation and our partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation and Classical KING-FM 98.1.
Music Under the Stars is a long-standing Seattle tradition, bringing exceptional outdoor music events to communities around the city since 1993. Join us on Mondays throughout the month of July at Delridge Playfield, the first Thursday and the following Wednesdays at Volunteer Park Amphitheater, and Fridays at both Columbia Park and Freeway Park.
