Learn what it takes to make an independent documentary film from start to finish, and how a Seattle filmmaker got wrapped up making one. THE AUTOMAT (in post-production) about Horn & Hardart’s cafeteria chain, where people of all races, classes, and backgrounds sat side by side, features original music by Mel Brooks and interviews with Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Colin Powell. Co-sponsored by 4Culture, Seattle Jewish Film Festival and the Seattle Public Library.
The DocTalk will start at 7:00 pm, doors for the talk open and light refreshments at 6:30 pm.
